LOCATELLI MULTIMATIK (MK) CNC V.1, ...Fully Automatic (6) Axes CNC Lathe With Hopper Feed.

  • Axis Configuration:  4-Axes (A-U-V-W) CNC controlled knife movement, controlled by Servo motors paired with ground recirculating ball screws with preloaded lead nut; asynchronous air-cooled spindle motor C-Axis controlled; Z-Axis for longitudinal carriage travel of 63" (16,00 mm).
  • CNC Controller/Software: Reliable OSAI Controller.  Latest version of CAD-CAM Software type GEOR.TL (PC not included). Generated CNC programs are fed via inherent postprocessor in a G-code format which are easily interpreted by the machine controller. Specifically designed with the benefit of extensive experience in production woodturning. Intuitive interface which is easily learned. CNC programs are interactive allowing independent axes to perform different machining operations simultaneously. Flexible on-the-fly inputting makes it possible to program profiled tools in (3) different modes: a.) when blanks are loaded, b.) between working passes, 3.) before the end of working cycle.
