In 1977 he joined the John Widdicomb high end, residential furniture company, started at the bottom, worked all manufacturing shifts, and gained an impressive variety of hands-on experiences from true furniture Masters. His very positive results led to becoming their Vice President of Operations. - After 10 years in Mexico, Dan chose to return to Michigan and continue his woodworking industry career in the US.
