WEMHONER KT-M-15/28-240 Membrane Press with Three Vacuum Trays.
General Data: 2,800 mm x 1,500 mm (110.2" x 59.1") platen size. Press system, Hydraulic single daylight downstroke press.
Construction: Press body consisting of steel frames bolted together to form a closed unit. Each frame manufactured out of a single piece. Heated platens, top and bottom. Press can operate with or without membrane.
Vacuum Tray Tables: Three (3) tray carriage with an aluminium plate. Aluminium plate consisting of aluminium sheet with grooves and channels for aeration and lay-up frame 20 mm. Tray tables riding on profiled steel rails and arranged in a 'C' (circular-merry-go-round) configuration. Trays are shuttled manually but fed/discharged out of press automatically.
Total press capacity: 240 tons.. Max. chamber air pressure 6 Bar.
Operation: Mechanical time of the hydraulic upstroke press for opening, closing, feeding and outfeeding. pressure build-up and reduction, not including pressing time is 45 Sec approximately.

Comes With: (1) Free-standing Thermofoil storage/dispensing rack (6-roll capacity); (1) Fixed 4-roll storage/dispensing rack. Vacuum pump and vacuum tank as well as valve control.
Freestanding Electrical panel: With opertor pushbutton controls Programmable Controller (PLC) Model SIEMENS "OP 393-III".
Work needed: Hydraulic and oil pump are decommissioned and need to verify if included. Needs membrane temperature probe replaced. Controller will power up but PLC programs may have to be reinstalled. Otherwise the press was working well when taken our of service 7 -8 years ago.
