LOEWER DISC MASTER 3DBBP-1350 Denibbing Sander; 

Revolutionary design in denibbing/sealer sanding for panels or raised panel doors.

Specifications:

  • (16) Overhead rotating (flat) discs followed by (2) 16" dia. rotating rollers and (3) Planetary 3-disc heads give you the ideal finish; 53" Max. width.
  • 1st Station: (16) Overhead 10" dia. discs (arranged in 3 rows) rotate in eccentric orbital motion to sand, scrub and scratch in all directions, each row rotates in opposite directions. Disc station with variable RPM of 50 - 300 RPM with frequency converter, motorized height adjustment with LED readout, disc and brush station have individual height adjustments, 0" - 4 " max. part thickness. The motion is a Patented Excentric Orbital Movement
  • 2nd Station: (2) 16" Dia. x 54" long counter-rotating abrasive loadings resand the panel surface with the grain for the ideal finish. 

    Roller station with variable RPM control, 14 - 300 RPM with frequency converter, motorized brush height adjustment with LED readout.
  • 3rd Station: (3) Overlapping planetary rotation heads each with (3) rotating discs for a total of (9) 250 mm (9.8") sanding discs. 0.75 kW (1 HP) Gear motor with tooth belt drives for planetary head rotation by frequency converter, 20 - 40 RPM.

    Each planetary head equipped with 0.75 kW (1 HP) drive motor and tooth belt drives for the (3) sanding discs, variable disc rotation of 50 - 400 RPM by frequency converter.

    Oscillation of the complete planetary station 90° to the feed by a gear motor 0.37 kW (0.5 HP).
    Motorized height adjustment of the planetary station by gear motor and spindle and Center head rotating clockwise, outside heads counter-rotating.

    Feed System:
  • Conveyor belt feed assembly with vacuum bed, 10 HP suction fans, variable feed speed 8 - 50 FPM with 2 HP drive, infeed and outfeed spring loaded holddown rollers linked to the height adjustment of both sanding heads.
  • Automatic conveyor belt tracking, constant feed line height of conveyor bed, sensor activated panel blow off at outfeed, antistatic brush strip, infeed over-thick panel shut off;
  • Vacuum feed belt to hold down small work pieces with two strong vacuum motors 7.5 kW (10 HP).
  •  Automatic centering of feed belt, pneumatically controlled. 
  • Constant height of through feed, possible to put machine in finishing line; maximum height of work piece 100 mm (4”).

    Computer and Operator Controls:
  • Control Panel at left side Emergency off pull line at infeed and outfeed - Infeed control with emergency stop if work piece is too thick.
  • PLC - Power-Panel Control, colored touch screen, strong PLC.
  • Menu controlled functions like manual mode – creating a program, storing a program, loading a program, different pin areas, choice of pin, service-function, connection card for connecting machine to PLC of finishing line. 

    Equipped with:
  • Spring loaded hold-down rollers for holding down narrow work pieces, pre-adjustable in height, linked to height adjustment of spindles. 
  •  Motorized height adjustment of sanding units by gearmotor 0.37 kW (0.5HP) 
  • Sensor activated pneumatic oscillating blowing device for cleaning the work piece at the outfeed of the machine.
